I JUST WROTE A LONG HEARTFELT POST AND IT DIDN’T SAVE NOR SEND. I AM VERY ANGRY AND I THINK THAT MADE ME WANT TO GO TO SLEEP. OR AT LEAST GET THE FUCK OFF OF TUMBLR….

Why do people make it seem like being weak is the worst thing a person can be?

Weak is defined as not strong; liable to yield, break, or collapse under pressure or strain; fragile; frail. Sure, weak is not a good look, but it’s not the worst thing to be.

What about manipulative? Or condescending? Or even worse, a liar. From what hear, everyone hates a liar.

Weak isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be. And quite frankly, strong isn’t the best thing to be either. What about humble? Or respectable? Or even better, honest?

The thing about weak people is, they can become strong. The thing about strong people is, they can become weak.

Are you going to let the love of your life walk out on you because you’re too strong to swallow your pride? Are you going to let someone who doesn’t deserve you continue to hinder you from finding the person that does deserve you because you’re too weak to stand up for yourself?

The answer should be no, but there are too many people in the world who would not only answer yes, but already did through their actions.

Being weak or strong does not, in my opinion, define a person. Sometimes the only option a person has is to be strong or weak, depends on the situation. As long as a person does what is best for them without hurting (except for in situations where hurt is inevitable) other people, they are ohkay in my book.

What really matters most is that a person has the strength to get back up. Don’t let defeat keep you down. In retrospect, sometimes being weak makes you the strong in the end.
